​Dicky Addicott-Paixão is an award-winning film composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and engineer, and co-founder & Head of Production at Migration Studios in the Cotswolds.

His scores have been heard across Europe, The USA, and Canada, winning multiple composition awards including consecutive Best Soundtrack Awards at Venice’s ONA Film Festival. He was one of three composers, alongside Dave Goulding and Jack Chown, on ESPN feature documentary Stolen Gold, winner of Best Sports Documentary at the Banff Rockie Awards and nominated for Best TV Feature Documentary at the IDA Documentary Awards in LA.

Dicky designed and built Migration Studios in 2021, where PinkPantheress, Elbow, Joy Crookes, Mura Masa, Becky Hill, Pa Salieu, Isabella Summers, Joy Anonymous and BBY have recorded. He also engineered Elbow during the recording of their UK No.1 album Audio Vertigo.

He is the main creative force behind six-piece Normal Ltd., fusing analogue electronics and experimental production with cinematic pop. The project has received BBC Radio 6 Music support, with Guy Garvey describing the music as “touching, beautiful & innovative.”His work across records and film combines organic instrumentation, analogue technology and experimentation.
